Our principal Suresh Patel, formerly owner of Classic Cakes, Daventry, had a vision.

Using the knowledge gained from over 25 year’s experience in the manufacture of cake products for Retail and Food service sectors, his dream was to create a purpose-built bakery with the latest equipment, flexibility and innovation.

He knew the bakery and equipment was key but principally it is the people who make the difference, having the right management and workforce was crucial.

He needed to source quality ingredients to produce an innovative range of products and be flexible enough to be able to accommodate customer requirements.

The Healthy Baker site in Wellingborough opened in September 2015 and is over 30 000 sq. ft. 

We have an exceptionally strong team, with substantial experience in the cake industry and are working to grow and develop our team along with the business.

We are BRC accredited and pride ourselves in providing an excellent service.

Our in-house development team have developed fantastic products and work closely with our customers on bespoke products.

We have a programme of investment and improvement to ensure we can keep up with the latest production methods, ingredients and product trends.
